What is a Root Canal?

Patients often ask us what a root canal is, they know they have pain but they aren’t quite sure what it means.

A root canal treatment can be quick and relieve the pain while also saving your tooth. When we save the tooth you are able to preserve efficient chewing, the natural appearance, normal bitting, etc.

We’re able to save the tooth by removing the infected pulp and cleaning the inside of the tooth. We then restore the tooth with a crown or filling.
